WHDL is an AM radio station licensed to Olean, New York. The mostly satellite and automated sports radio outlet is co-owned, along with sister station WPIG, by Community Broadcasters, LLC, and operates on 1450 kHz. It is the oldest station in Cattaraugus County, signing on on December 11, 1934.[1] It was affiliated with ABC since its days as the Blue Network; as of 2013, the station is the Cattaraugus County affiliate of ESPN Radio, taking over that affiliation from WGGO.

In addition to satellite programming, WHDL carries some limited high school sports programming from the Olean area as well as overflow sports programming from WPIG.

Former congressman James F. Hastings managed WHDL from 1952 to 1966. The station was historically an oldies outlet since at least the 1980s, a format that was dropped in 2013.
