WEYW Channel 19 is a television station in Key West, Florida. The station began broadcasting over the air in 2008 as a 24 hour weather station owned by New Colonial Broadcasting. The station was purchased in 2010 by the Bellizzi Broadcasting Network and became a Retro TV affiliate. WEYW broadcasts Retro TV on Comcast Channel 87 in Monroe County and on AT&T U-Verse Channel 19 in Dade, Broward and Monroe Counties, and can be seen over the air in Key West on digital channel 19.1 and through WDFL in the Miami and Ft Lauderdale area on digital channel 12.4. Additionally, WEYW can be viewed worldwide on the internet at http://weyw19.com. WEYW interrupts Retro TV programming with approximately 22 hours per week of locally produced shows highlighting the Florida Keys Lifestyle - boating and fishing shows, spear diving, cooking and local entertainment. The station also has a local news and information talk show which features local politicians, business owners and spokespersons from 501C-3 organizations promoting upcoming events and fundraisers. WEYW broadcasts from it studio and transmitter site in Key West. WEYW also has a studio in North Miami and has Vivex level 3 from Key West for national broadcasts.
