Change in License

On October 17, 2007 changed its community of license from Petersburg, West Virginia to Moorefield, West Virginia. This move, while dropping the stations power to 285 watts effective radiated power expanded its coverage area across all of Hardy and Grant counties, where previously it had only served part of Hardy County. WELD-FM's service grade signal can now be heard as far east as Winchester, Virginia.
