WDSD (94.7 FM) is a radio station licensed to serve Dover, Delaware. The station is owned by Clear Channel Communications. It airs a country music format.[1]
In addition to country music, WDSD does carry some sporting events. WDSD broadcasts NASCAR races, and is the flagship station for University of Delaware athletics. Some UD events are be broadcast on their sister station, The Ticket 1290 in Wilmington.
The station has been assigned these call letters by the Federal Communications Commission since September 7, 2007, when it swapped with sister station WRDX.[2]
