WDNR, known as 89.5 Widener University, is a college radio station which broadcasts in the Philadelphia area via a transmitter that covers a 10-mile radius around Chester, PA[citation needed]. WDNR can also be listened to on the internet via an online stream. The station broadcasts a wide variety of music. WDNR currently is run by General Manager Mark Benedetto and his executive staff. 2008 marked the stations 40th Anniversary. WDNR continues to be an important component of Widener University. WDNR continues to grow as an organization on campus and successfully has a large amount of support from the student population.
