Węgoryty [vɛŋɡɔˈrɨtɨ] (German: Wangritten) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Bartoszyce, within Bartoszyce County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[1] It lies approximately 11 kilometres (7 mi) south-east of Bartoszyce and 53 km (33 mi) north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
