Vytautas Paliūnas

Vytautas Paliūnas (1930-2005) was a Lithuanian politician. In 1990 he was among those who signed the Act of the Re-Establishment of the State of Lithuania.
Paliūnas graduated from high school in Kėdainiai in 1949 and the Kaunas Polytechnic Institute in 1954. After graduation, he worked as an Assistant at the Department of Hydrotechnology and the VODGEO Institute of Science in Moscow.
From 1990-1992, he served as a member of the Board of the Lithuanian Radio and Television.
