Volenice is a village and municipality (obec) in Strakonice District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 15.95 square kilometres (6.16 sq mi), and has a population of 562 (as at 28 August 2006).
Volenice lies approximately 12 kilometres (7 mi) west of Strakonice, 62 km (39 mi) north-west of České Budějovice, and 106 km (66 mi) south-west of Prague.
