Vohemar (also Vohimarina) is a district in northern Madagascar. It's a part of Sava Region and borders the districts of Sambava in south, Ambilobe in west and Antsiranana II in north. The area is 8,204 km2 (3,168 sq mi) and the population was estimated to be 169,687 in 2001.[1]
The district is further divided into 19 communes.
