Vissannapeta (Telugu: విస్సన్నపేట) is a village and Mandal in Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh, India. It is situated 62 km from Vijayawada to the way towards Sattupalli. This is an educational hub for Nuzvidu, Tiruvuru and Mylavaram. The three famous educational institutes in Vissannapeta are SRI SRI, Siddhartha and Vikas. These institutes offer L.K.G. TO P.G., D.Pharmacy, B.Pharmacy, Polytechnic, B.Ed., T.T.C. and M.C.A.

Vissannapeta has very old temples like Lakshmi Tirupatamma temple, Shivalayam in Sattupalli road. Kalyanam and Rath yatra on Mahashivratri day are famous in Shivalayam. Also, Kanaka Durga Temple, near to Siddhartha School is another popular one.

People depend mostly on agriculture of mango and paddy as main crops. Mango business would be carried out more in summer season.

Vissannapeta is famous for mango gardens and competes with the Nuzvid which is famous for its mango crop in Andhra Pradesh. The Banginapalli mangoes of Vissannapeta are exported to all the major cities in India and overseas. This is a good place to establish mango bi-product factories. A lake constructed by the Govt of AP, is now able to supply water in Tiruvuru constituency.
