Virendra Kataria (born c. 1933) is the present Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry, India.[1] He was a member of Rajya Sabha from Punjab during his tenure from 5th July, 1992 till 4th July, 1998.[2] He has remained general secretary and subsequently President of the Indian National Congress in Punjab.[1]He belongs to Abohar, Punjab. He has played a vital role in Indian politics and has been associated with Indian National Congress throughout his life. He is also local chairman of DAV College of Education, Abohar, Punjab (Under DAV CMC, New Delhi).
