Vilhjálmur Árnason

This is an Icelandic name. The last name is a patronymic, not a family name; this person is properly referred to by the given name Vilhjálmur.
Vilhjálmur Árnason (born in Iceland 1953) is professor of philosophy at the University of Iceland. Internationally he is best known for his research on ethical aspects of controversial genetic research in Iceland by deCODE Genetics.
