Vik (also Vik i Helgeland) is a village and the administrative centre of the municipality of Sømna in Nordland county, Norway. It lies about 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) south of the village of Berg. The local church, Sømna Church, was built here in 1876. The 0.72-square-kilometre (180-acre) village has a population (2011) of 364. The population density is 506 inhabitants per square kilometre (1,310 /sq mi).[1][3]
