2014 V.League 2

The Vietnamese First Division (Vietnamese: Giải bóng đá hạng Nhất Quốc gia), commonly known as V.League 2, is the second tier league in Vietnamese football controlled by the Vietnam Professional Football, after the V.League 1, with 8 teams competing.

Format

The league comprised 14 clubs. Starting in the 2013 season, only 8 teams will participate in the league.[1] Over the course of a season, clubs play a two-leg round-robin format over 18 rounds with a total of 90 matches. The club finishing at the bottom of the league table will be relegated to the Vietnamese Second Division while the top two clubs will be promoted to the 2015 V.League 1 season.[2]
