Victoria "Vicki" Marguerite Treadell (born 1960), CMG, CVO, is the current British High Commissioner to New Zealand and Samoa, and the current Governor of the Pitcairn Islands.[1]
She was born in Ipoh, Malaya (now Malaysia) and to a Cantonese mother and a father of French-Dutch ancestry. Before her posting to New Zealand, she had held postings in Pakistan, India and Malaysia.[2]
She is the first woman who served as British High Commissioner to New Zealand.[3]
She was appointed a Commander of the Royal Victorian Order (CVO) in 1989 and was made a Companion of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George (CMG) in 2010.
