Victoria Bush (born 1978 in King's Lynn, Norfolk) is a British actress and comedienne, Most Commonly known for her Role as "Sonya Donnegan " In BBC 1's best Ever Drama "Waterloo Road" she was the new School Seceteray taking over from Janeece Bryant when the school Relocated to "Scotland" "Greenock". Also known for her role as Tina Purvis, later known as Tina O'Kane, on the British television drama Bad Girls.

Career

Bush trained at the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, one of Britain's leading drama schools.[1]

On leaving drama school, she secured her first major television role on the highly acclaimed ITV prison drama Bad Girls in 2001 as Tina Purvis (later Tina O'Kane) during the shows third series. Bush continued in the role for a further five series until the shows axe in 2006.

Bush is currently one half of female comedy duo of Checkly & Bush with Laura Checkley. Recent tours include "Keep Calm and Carry On", due to feature at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2011, which included cameos from rising stars in the comedy world; Abbey Merritt and Vev Gaunt.

In 2012, Bush joined the cast of BBC school drama Waterloo Road for the upcoming eighth series as new school secretary, Sonya Donnegan.
