Versa Capital Management

Versa Capital Management Inc. is a private equity firm based in Philadelphia that invests in distressed companies. Versa has invested in companies in industries including restaurants, manufacturing, newspapers and clothing. It has $1.2 billion in assets under management.
In June, 2012, Versa purchased four daily newspapers from Freedom Communications.[1]
