Vendas Novas (Portuguese pronunciation: [ˈvẽdɐʒ ˈnɔvɐʃ]) is a municipality in Portugal with a total area of 222.4 km² and a total population of 11,957. The city has 10,235 inhabitants.
The municipality is composed of 2 parishes, and is located in the District of Évora.
The present Mayor is José Rodrigues Figueira, elected by the Unitarian Democratic Coalition.
