Veltheimia is a genus of perennial plants native to South Africa in the family Asparagaceae, subfamily Scilloideae.[1] It was named in honour of A.F.G. von Veltheim (1741-1808), a German patron of botany.[2]
There are two species:[3]
- Veltheimia bracteata Harv. ex Baker
- Veltheimia capensis (L.) DC.
