R. Velraj (Tamil: ஆர்.வேல்ராஜ்) is an Indian cinematographer who was born in a village near Madurai, Tamil Nadu. At his early stage, he was associated with cinematographer Tirru and worked in several Tamil films as assistant cinematographer, notably alavandhan [1] etc., also [2] worked mainly in Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi films including Polladhavan, Aadukalam, Kandahar and Engeyum Eppodhum.
