Velké Žernoseky is a village and municipality (obec) in Litoměřice District in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic.

The municipality covers an area of 2.96 square kilometres (1.14 sq mi), and has a population of 488 (as at 31 December 2007).

Velké Žernoseky lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) west of Litoměřice, 14 km (9 mi) south of Ústí nad Labem, and 57 km (35 mi) north-west of Prague. It has a wine growing tradition, as can be seen in the coat of arms and the picture (probably the northern ones in the Czech Republic).[1]
