Velká nad Veličkou (German: Welka) is a village and municipality (obec) in Hodonín District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 25.9 square kilometres (10.0 sq mi), and has a population of 3,040 (as at 1 January 2009).
Velká nad Veličkou, a part of traditional ethnographic region Horňácko, lies approximately 29 kilometres (18 mi) east of Hodonín, 75 km (47 mi) south-east of Brno, and 261 km (162 mi) south-east of Prague.
