Veliki brat 2014, also known as Veliki brat 5 or simply VB5, is an upcoming series of the Serbian, Croatian, Montenegrin, Bosnian-Herzegovian and Macedonian production of Big Brother series. It will be the fifth series of the show in Serbia and seventh in Croatia - for both a first series after the show went on a two-year hiatus. The series will be broadcast on Croatian RTL, but the Serbian broadcaster is still unknown.[1] Besides RTL, Serbian production company Emotion is going to be involved in the project. Producers from Emotion announced that they are interested in having auditions in Slovenia as well[2] which will set the number of participating countries to a record six - which means that all of the former Yugoslav republics will take part in the series.
The series was originally planned for fall 2013, but producers decided on cancelling the series, and said that they would instead do one in early 2014.[3]
