Veldurthy is a village and a Mandal in Guntur district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. It is famous for cotton and chillies. Veldurthy Pin Code is 522613, and the post office name is Veldurthy S.O. The mandal code of Veldurthy is 20. Guntur district has 3 revenue divisions; Tenali, Bapatla, and Narasaraopeta. Veldurthy is located in NARASARAOPETA DIVISION. This mandal consists of 16 villages. Those are Veldurthy, Bodilaveedu, Gangalakunta, Gottipalla, Gundlapadu, K.P.Gudem, Kandlakunta, Loyapalli, Mandadi, Mittameedipalli, Patlaveedu, Ratchamallapadu, Sirigiripadu, S.R.Thanda, Uppalapadu, and Vazralathanda.

Agriculture is the main occupation of people living in Veldurthy. Some of the major crops grown in this region include Cotton, Chillies, Rice (paddy), turmeric, pulses, vegetables etc.,
