Vasilijs Stepanovs (3 March 1927[1][2][3] or 12 December 1927[4][5] – 8 April 2011) was a Latvian weightlifter. In the 1956 Summer Olympics, he won the silver medal in the 82.5 kg weight category, with the total result of 427.5 kg.[6] He had also won gold medal in the World Championships in 1955 and gold medal in the European Championships 1955.
