Vasil Shkurtaj (born Vasilis Skourtis-Shkurtaj on 27 February 1992) is an Albanian professional footballer who plays for Roda JC Kerkrade in Netherlands, as a striker.

Club career

Born in Chania, Greece, Shkurtaj played youth football for four clubs, including AFC Ajax, Olympiakos F.C. and S.S. Lazio, arriving at the latter in January 2010 as compatriot Igli Tare acted as the team's director of football.[1] In 2010–11 he made his senior debuts, representing Panionios F.C. in his country of adoption but also being loaned by the Superleague outfit to Thrasyvoulos FC.

In January 2012 Shkurtaj moved to Portugal, joining lowly Vilaverdense FC. In the following season he signed with C.D. Tondela in the second level, led by former S.L. Benfica and Portugal great Vítor Paneira.[2]
