Vanessa abyssinica, the Abyssinian Admiral, is a butterfly in the Nymphalidae family. It is found in Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo.[2] The habitat consists of montane forests.
The larvae feed on Urtica masaica and Obetia pinnatifida.
