Vampire Idol (Hangul: 뱀파이어 아이돌; RR: Baempaieo Aidol) is a 2011 South Korean youth sitcom that ran on MBN from 2011 to 2012.[1]

Synopsis

A naïve vampire prince from Vampire planet visits Earth to see a live performance of his favorite idol contender. He remains stuck on Earth with his three trusted and loyal servants. He then decides to join the competition himself and struggles to become a global pop idol.[2][3]

  • Prince/Wang-ja/Vampirutus Panyera Twilight Walakia Kunyaris Romania Blarantua Transylvania New Moon Tenios Bellanluci Breaking Dawn Draculu Oolala Eclipse Apalidia[4] (played by Lee Jung): He gets everything perfect : appearance, character, talent and attitude. But only when he is the prince of Vampire planet.
  • Min-kyung (played by Kang Min-kyung): 19 years old. She works as the road manager in the star-managing company. Later she becomes the vocalist in a girl group.
  • Dong-yup (played by Shin Dong-yup): Manager of the star-managing company. He’s in charge of Vampire-voice. He’s smart in lying and everything he says is a lie.
  • Soo-mi (played by Kim Soo-mi): 61 years old. She works for the Star managing company. She’s in charge of providing meals in the boarding house for the members of Vampire voice.
  • Soo-hyuk/Mukadil Kejua (played by Lee Soo-hyuk): 22 years old. He is one of Prince's servants. He is the vocalist of Vampire-voice and also plays the guitar and drums.[5] He has a serious personality and is very vampire-like, always craving blood.
  • Woo-bin/Gabri Ratiss (played by Kim Woo-bin): 22 years old. He is one of Prince's servants. He has super-sharp hearing.
  • Jong-hyun/Galilu Genius (played by Hong Jong-hyun): He is a genius with an IQ of 790. He is also very socially awkward.[4]
