Valery Twite Nahayo (born 15 April 1984) is a Burundian international footballer who plays professionally for Belgian team Gent, as a defender.[1]

Career

Club career

Born in Bujumbura, Nahayo began his early career with Atomic and Muzinga, before moving to South African team Jomo Cosmos in 2004.[2] He moved to Kaizer Chiefs in June 2008,[3] before signing for Belgium team Gent in July 2011. He was linked with a return to the Chiefs in August 2012.[4]

International career

Nahayo made his international debut for Burundi in 2003,[5] and has appeared in FIFA World Cup qualifying matches for them.[6]
