Valentin Niculai Ursache (born Târgu Neamt, 12 August 1985) is a Romanian rugby union player. He plays as a lock.
Ursache played for Dinamo Bucharest, in Romania, currently playing for Aix-en-Provence, in the French Pro D2.
Ursache has 55 caps for Romania, since his debut at 26 June 2004, in the historical 25-24 win over Italy, in Bucharest, in a friendly game. He played twice at the 2007 Rugby World Cup, as a substitute. He was called for the 2011 Rugby World Cup, playing in three games. He has scored for his National Team 3 tries, 15 points in aggregate.[1]
