Valbrona is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Como in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 45 km north of Milan and about 20 km northeast of Como. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,575 and an area of 13.9 km².[1]
Valbrona borders the following municipalities: Abbadia Lariana, Asso, Canzo, Lasnigo, Mandello del Lario, Oliveto Lario, Valmadrera.
