Vaisua Liva (born 20 January 1993 in Nukulaelae) is a Tuvaluan footballer who currently plays for Waitakere City FC, a club from New Zealand and the national football team of Tuvalu.

Club career

Vaisua played from 2008 up to 2012 for FC Manu Laeva. He arrived on 5 oktober 2012 at Schiphol, Amsterdam, for a training period of 3 months in the Netherlands. During these months he will train together with Alopua Petoa at the second team of Vv Brabantia. The aim of the training is to improve the quality of both football players and preparing scouting reports for Clubs in New Zealand. Aim is to make both players the first Semi-Pro footballers of Tuvalu. Besides training and playing for the second team of VV Brabantia both players also will follow intensive training courses to become youth football coaches and they will visit several matches of Dutch professional clubs.[1] Since February 2013 he plays for Waitakere City FC.[2]

International career

He played five games at the Pacific games 2011. He made his debut in the match against Samoa on August 22, 2011.
