Vad (Hungarian: Révkolostor) is a commune in Cluj County, Romania. It is composed of seven villages: Bogata de Jos (Alsóbogáta), Bogata de Sus (Felsőbogáta), Calna (Kálna), Cetan (Csatány), Curtuiuşu Dejului (Déskörtvélyes), Vad and Valea Groşilor (Tőkepataka).
Demographics
According to the census from 2002 there was a total population of 2,143 people living in this commune. Of this population, 97.62% are ethnic Romanians, 2.00% ethnic Romani and 0.37% are ethnic Hungarians.[1]
