VT Systems, also known as Vision Technologies Systems, is an integrated engineering group providing solutions and services in the aerospace, electronics, land systems, and marine sectors. iT has 3,300 professional and technical employees. VT Systems is the United States corporate entity of ST Engineering, a global defence contractor.
About
VT Systems key offerings include shipbuilding, custom truck bodies and trailers, emergency vehicle units, satellite-based broadband access solutions, hardened electronic systems, and aircraft maintenance and repair. The shipbuilding group has three shipyards and designs and manufactures highly customized vessels for the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Agencies, and supply vessels to support offshore oil exploration and production.
The aerospace group has two facilities and providing repair and overhaul services to a broad fleet of commercial aircraft.
The electronics group creates ruggedizing computer systems for the U.S. Military as well as a supplier of airborne wireless servers and access points and services for IP Networking via satellite worldwide. The land systems group has six facilities providing custom refrigerated and dry freight bodies and trailers, as well as emergency vehicles to a wide range of customers in the U.S. and overseas.
VTS also delivers a wide variety of land system products and technologies, which exceed the deployability and mobility requirements future battlefields demand.

- 26 May 2003: VT Halter Marine Inc., a subsidiary of Vision Technologies Systems Inc., is selected by the Puerto Rico Port Authority (PRPA) to design and build a $2.8-million sea-going passenger ferry.
- 1 December 2005: iDirect Technologies announced the completion of their acquisition by Vision Technologies Electronics, Inc., a subsidiary of Vision Technologies Systems, Inc.
