V-MODA /ˈvmdɑː/ is a private United States Company specializing in the design and production high-end mobile audio products including headphones, earphones, portable amplifiers, hearings protection ear plugs and accessories.

Company

Founded as a high-end stylish headphones manufacturer in 2004.[1][2] Now it is a professional headphones company, products are welcome by EDM DJs.[3][4]

History

The company was founded in 2004 by Val Kolton a professional DJ and a music producer. He originally focused on innovations and patents to develop the fashion headphone lines named "Kolton Technology". After two years fashion headphones product lines launched which was the first high-fidelity fashion headphone company with 33,000 unitis in 11 colors in 2006 and renamed to 'V-MODA'.[5]

In 2007, working with Apple, the company released Vibe Duo products line fully made for Apple iPhones and iPods which was a milestone to company. It was the first third-party headphone for Apple iPhone & iPod.[6]

In 2010, the company has released their first DJ full-sized headphones named Crossfade LP.

In 2010, the company began developing M series headphones, which is for mobiles audiophiles.

In 2012, the company launched its first M series on-ear headphones Crossfade M-80.

In 2013, the company launched a "crowd sourced" over-ear headphones Crossfade M-100, and multi-platform portable amplifier VAMP VERZA.

The company is headquartered in Hollywood, California in USA. The regional offices in Milan, Italy and Hong Kong, China.

Products of V-MODA is manufacture in China and Japan.

V-MODA has sales channels in USA, France, Germany, the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands, Russia, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, Canada, UAE.

In 2012, the company opened their office in Hong Kong, to handle the Asia Pacific sales, supply chain and manufacturing.

In 2013, the company has started design office in Milan,Italy.
