Vřesovice is a village and municipality (obec) in Prostějov District in the Olomouc Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 6.19 square kilometres (2.39 sq mi), and has a population of 471 (as at 28 August 2006).
Vřesovice lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) south of Prostějov, 23 km (14 mi) south of Olomouc, and 211 km (131 mi) east of Prague.
