Vítor Luiz Faverani Tatsch (born May 5, 1988) is a Brazilian professional basketball player who currently plays for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He has also represented Brazil in international competition.
Professional career
Spanish basketball league
Faverani arrived in Spain when he was 17 years of age and started playing for Clínicas Rincón Axarquía. From 2005–2013, he played in the Liga ACB and LEB Oro for various teams. In 2011, he won the LEB Oro championship with CB Murcia.
NBA
Faverani was eligible for the 2009 NBA draft but he ended up going undrafted.[1]
On July 22, 2013, Faverani signed with the Boston Celtics.[2] During his rookie season, he has had multiple assignments with the Maine Red Claws of the NBA D-League.[3]
