Ushasie Chakraborty is a Bengali film actress.[1] She played the role of Satyabati in Anjan Dutt's film adaptations on Byomkesh Bakshi.
Career
Chakraborty has worked in the films like Ranjana Ami Ar Ashbona, Bedroom etc.[2] She has played the role of Satyabati in Anjan Dutt's celluloid adaptation of Byomkesh Bakshi.[3] She is daughter of Communist Party of India leader Shyamal Chakraborty.[4] In an interview of June 2011 she felt her father's political identity is a disadvantage for her in the film industry.[2] In 2011, she campaigned for Communist Party of India before 2011 West Bengal assembly election.[5]
