Urif (Arabic: عوريف) is a Palestinian village in the Nablus Governorate in northern West Bank, located 13 kilometers South of Nablus. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS), the town had a population of 2,839 inhabitants in mid-year 2006.[1]

History

In the 1931 census, taken by the British Mandate of Palestine authorities, Urif had 103 occupied houses and a population of 402 Muslims and 1 Christian.[2]
