Urdu 1 (trademarked Urdu 1) or Urdu 1 Channel is an Urdu language, television network, owned by Alliance Media FZ-LLC Dubai. The channel's transmission became available in Pakistan on 12 June 2012, with regular transmission beginning 23 June 2012.[1][2]
Urdu 1 is the channel that is airing national and international serials such as Pakistani, Turkish, Croatian, Spanish and Indian serials. Turkish and Spanish, serials are aired after dubbing in Urdu. Urdu1 is a trendsetter. After airing the first Turkish series Ishq-e-Memnu every channel started showing foreign content. Ishq-e-Memnu is an all-time blockbuster by getting 11.79 ratings on its last episode, no other channel has broken the record from December 2012 to now. Ishq-e-Memnu is being aired once again due to immense public demand. It airs everyday 10:00pm.
