Urban Education is a peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes papers in the field of Urban Studies. The journal's editor is H. Richard Milner (Peabody College). It has been in publication since 1965 and is currently published by SAGE Publications.
Scope
Urban Education aims to publish commentary on key issues from different gender and racial perspectives. The journal covers topics such as mental health needs of urban students, student motivation and teacher practice. Urban Education focuses on the critical concerns facing inner-city schools and provides a forum for discussion on the subject.
