The Urban Book Circle (UBC) is a literary society[1] based in Canada.[2] The UBC gathers writers and artists world-wide and has multimedia presentations, publishing of almanacs, visual arts and literature, awards for the best and worst, marathon readings of poetry and promotions of books and magazines.[2][3]

History

The Urban Book Circle was formed on February 14, 2012.[2][4][5][6] The UBC has contributors and honourable members in twelve countries and have announced further expansion.[2]
