Dream Careers Inc. formerly known as University of Dreams, is an American corporation providing mainly summer internship programs. The company is based in Redwood City, California, and has 55 full-time employees (as of February 12, 2009). According to the New York Times, they are one of the most visible players in the industry.[1]

History

The company was founded in February 2000 as University of Dreams. It was featured on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies and also on an NPR broadcast.[2][3]

University of Dreams merged with Career Expectations in 2010 and renamed itself to the current name of Dream Careers.[4]

Services

Dream Careers offers internships to college undergraduates. It charges a flat fee for an internship placement, housing, transportation, meals, and other related services.[5][6] The programs have about an 85% success rate.[7]
