Ungheni (Hungarian: Nyárádtő, Hungarian pronunciation: [’ɲaːraːdtøː]; German: Nyaradfluß) is a town in Mureş County, in central Romania. Its Romanian name until the 1960s was Niraşteu.

Six villages are administered by the town:

  • Recea (Recsa)
  • Şăuşa (Sóspatak)

The town is situated 11 km from the county capital Târgu Mureş and is the location of the Târgu Mureş International Airport.
