Uncle Sargam (Urdu: انکل سرگم) is a puppet character first appeared in the children's television show Kaliyan aired on PTV in 1976.[1] Uncle Sargam was created by an award winner puppeteer and television director Farooq Qaiser.[1] It was voiced by himself. Later appearances were in TV show Daak Time in 1993. Character also appeared and hosted a television talk show Syasi Kaliyan at Dawn News in 2010.

Character is also appeared in the PNCA's organised show in Islamabad.[1][2] Uncle Sargam also appeared in a charity show function organised by an NGO Mashal at National Library of Pakistan in Islamabad in July 2013.[3]
