The guards of the refugee camp were attracted by the beauty of this Angel like Malini. They take Malini into the woods and tried to molest her. On hearing her screaming the local young lad Raja (played by Prashanth) comes to her rescue and takes her back safely to the refugee camp. Their subsequent meetings blossom into a strong Love. The refugees are ordered to be sent back to Srinka by the Government and Malini is taken back to Sri Lanka. Not able to bear the separation, Raja decides to swim across to Sri Lanka. On reaching the shore he is arrested by the coastal guards on a mistaken identity that he is a terrorist. Raja escapes from captivity, but somehow finds his lady love. Of special note: being a proficient sea swimmer Prashanth swam in the ocean scenes without a stunt double.
