"Un Momento" is a song by Inna and the third single taken from her second studio album I Am the Club Rocker. It is also released as a bonus track on the Spanish and British Editions of her debut album Hot. The song was written and produced by Inna's permanent collaborators Play & Win and features Spanish DJ, remix artist and producer Juan Magan. The song officially premiered on September 2, 2010 and was released as a promotional single, and was officially released to France on July 19, 2011 as a single. The song was performed at selected dates during the INNA en Concert tour and in Romania. A music video was shot in Palma de Mallorca in summer 2011.

Background

On June 28, 2010, Inna’s official website announced that two new songs entitled "Sun Is Up" and "Un Momento" (with Juan Magan), both written and produced by Play & Win, were supposed to be released together as a "Hit Summer Pack".[1] But while "Sun Is Up" premiered on Kiss FM Romania on June 29, 2010, "Un Momento" was released later on and appeared on YouTube on September 2, 2010.[2][3] The song incorporates elements of electropop, house and latin pop as well as merenrap. The lyrics are written in both English and Spanish. On September 5, 2010, Inna's website confirmed "Un Momento" to be a bonus track on the Spanish Version of Hot,[4] which was released on September 28, 2010. The song also appeared on the British Version of Hot, which was released on June 5, 2011.

Inna uploaded a remastered version of "Un Momento" on to her official YouTube account in late June 2011. It was announced that "Un Momento" will be a track on Inna's upcoming album, "I am the Club Rocker!". "Un Momento" was released for downloading on French iTunes on July 19, 2011 and in Mexico on September 3, 2011. In the UK, the song was released on October 23, 2011 on iTunes as the official UK Radio Edit, which is much shorter than the original version.

Music video

As of July 2011, Inna stated that she would filming a video for "Un Momento" in Palma de Mallorca the week commencing July 11, 2011. It was directed by Alex Herron, who previously directed her video for "Sun Is Up". On August 4, 2011, a teaser was presented on Inna's website. Although not confirmed, it is apparent that the song will act as the third official single from her album "I Am the Club Rocker", after "Sun Is Up" and "Club Rocker". Inna filmed the music video for Un Momento in Palma de Mallorca the week commencing July 11, 2011. She has also uploaded a video teaser to her YouTube channel. The full video was released on August 10, 2011. It features clips of Inna having fun with her friends and mocking men. The video was compared by critics with "Loca". The video gained over 500,000 views in less than two days. As of September 1, 2011 the video gathered over 1,000,000 views on a single channel. Its television premiere was on August 11, at MusicChannel Romania. Five days later, it had its premiere on Kiss TV and on September 1 it premiered on MTV Romania.
