Umbrăreşti is a commune in Galați County, Romania with a population of 7,060 people. It is composed of six villages: Condrea, Salcia, Siliştea, Torceşti, Umbrăreşti and Umbrăreşti-Deal (called Generalul Eremia Grigorescu from its establishment in 1933 until 1950, then Vasile Roaită under the Communist regime and until 1996).
