Uma Maheswaran

Uma Maheswaran (died July 1989), alias Mukundan, was the chairman of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (1977-1980) and later founded the People's Liberation Organisation of Tamil Eelam. He was shot dead by one of his bodyguards in July 1989.[1] He was involved in the 1988 Maldives Coup.[2]
