Ugwunagbo is a Local Government Area of Abia State, Nigeria. Its headquarters are in the town of Ugwunagbo.
It has an area of 108 km² and a population of 82,618 at the 2006 census. Economy:
the local gov. Depends solely on farming.it's one of those places that supplies farm products to aba and environs. Ugwunagbo also have little deposit of crude oil which can be found in obuzo. It also has vast cities like obegu, ngwayiekwe,ihie,asa-umunka etc. It has also produced vital personalites like prof.ohiagu(obegu), col. Emma ananaba(obegu), Hon.chinwe nwanganga(ihie) and many numerous and important personalities. The postal code of the area is 453.[1]
